This week, I literally ‘transported’ myself from one place to another. From Kuala Lumpur, I flew to Metro Manila. Then, I trekked to Valenzuela, Binangonan, Makati, Pasay, and Baguio. Finally, in a snap, I was bound for a stopover in Bangkok before I headed back to Yangon. Whew!
The hectic travel itinerary deprived me of sleep. But, what the heck. Everything was worthwhile because I got the chance to spend quality time with my family and friends.
This week may have felt short but, for sure, it was meaningful. Anyway, here is the list of things I’m thankful for:
1. I attended the christening of John Luigi, not my brother, but Dennis’s youngest nephew. I officially became a godfather — again. That means, he’s my second inaanak.2. I brought and fetched my sister to school.
3. I met with my best friends for breakfast, BJ and Eunice. Yes, I had 2 sumptuous breakfasts. And, oh, 3. That included what my dad prepared at home.4. I visited the graves of my Lolo, Lola and Uncle.5. I was reunited with Sparky! I also met his son, King.6. I cooked for my family and close friends.7. We’ve met with Sir Sonny and my brother and Cat before we left. Short, but fun.8.We got our award from CCP’s Gawad Alternatibo plus our not-so-big cash prize.9. We managed to rest in Bangkok.10.I shopped ‘til I dropped! It was fun because of the clearance sale all around Bangkok.
