On our third day in Chiang Mai, we just stayed at the hotel. We wanted to rest and watch Manny Pacquiao’s fight with Mayweather. Sadly, Pacquiao didn’t win but we were still proud of him!
On our fourth day, we drove to Chiang Rai. It is the largest and most culturally-significant city in Northern Thailand. It was at least 2 hours away from Chiang Mai.
We went first to a hot spring, Thawaesin Chiang Rai.
Then, we stopped at a beautiful white temple! They are really strict here because they truly want to take care of their temple.
It’s funny because we could be in Thailand, Laos and Myanmar — in few minutes. We crossed to Laos for few hours — how cool was that? He, he.
Then, our next trip was to Mesai, where the boarder of Myanmar is located. I wasn’t excited because I’m based in Myanmar! LOL! But I love Myanmar! =)
The last trip was my favorite. We went to the Hill Tribe. Different Karen tribes were housed there.
