It’s just a day before theHearts Day — and if you are still undecided of what to do, let me guide you!
For me, Valentines Day is not really about getting (or giving) an expensive gift or an extravagant experience. In essence, it’s all about aiming for priceless memories with your special someone.
So, here are some of the things that you can do this Valentines Day — minus the usual budget worries.
- DINE IN.
If you’re the old school type, surprise your love with a dinner date. It’s perfect. But, if you opt to prepare the set up, cook the food by yourself, and just dine in your place, everything would be worth the effort.
- GIVE YOUR BELOVED A PET.
Instead of giving flowers and chocolates, which would be eventually gone in days, a pet would be extra sweeter. On that note, your partner will be able to take care of this pet just the way he/she loves you. And if you are not together, this pet would just be totally substituting you for a while. Just make sure your love isn’t allergic to pets!
- GO ON A PICNIC.
Experience nature while you enjoy each others company. Nothing fancy — just special moment with each other.
- WATCH A MOVIE.
Instead of going to the cinema, just stay in bed and enjoy watching a movie while you munch something delectable. Opt for movies that both of you haven’t seen yet (or you both like to watch).
These are the things on my list. I know that some of these are quite cliché but my list simply reminds you not to spend too much on uneccsary things. You see, Valentines Day should always be celebrated everyday, right?
